The faculty at Georgia Southern is very collegial.
When people ask us what we do as faculty and what we do in the classroom, teaching is one of those types of things where we want the student to not only grasp the concepts but able to own the concepts.
At Georgia Southern, we believe we're a teaching-first institution, we have a chance to really get to know the students, both in the classroom and outside the classroom.
Qualifications for faculty here are to be excellent teachers. And we have colleagues that are really great in the classroom, but also excellent researchers.
