Living on campus is one of the most exciting parts of being an Armstrong campus student and we've got a lot of options for you to choose from.
Windward Commons is reserved for our first-year students and has private and semi-private and shared spaces available for you to choose from. We also have a lot of options for our upperclassmen with apartments and suite-style rooms available.
One of my favorite things about living in the Armstrong campus was the dining options that I had, specifically the galley, because it was a buffet style so I could pretty much go and get whatever I wanted and just keep going back and forth. So it was really nice.
Outside the dining hall, we have the Talon Food Truck. We have sushi, we have Chick-fil-A, and then we have Southern Cafe also. If you're looking for the coffee, we have The Perk and then we also have Starbucks. I like them both but The Perk sources our coffee from 33 Coffee Roaster which is a local coffee roaster from near the Savannah, Georgia, and Statesboro area.
For me, personally, the affordability, I would say it's definitely the biggest factor that when it like drove me to Armstrong. As I came here, I started to realize more of the benefits of being so close to campus because of the smaller size of the campus.
You do get more of that like a local community feel in terms of like just finding new people being more familiar with the environment and whatnot. And we're also an arboretum campus so if you're someone that likes to look at plants get free fruit and stuff like that. There's plenty of options around campus for that.
